1.Montanejos Guided Hike with Natural Pools

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 1,741 reviews · from $51Our pick

Travel from Valencia to Montanejos for a guided hike beside the Mijares River, views of the mountains, the powerful Chorro water jet, and 90 minutes at the Fuentes de los Baños pools. Guides such as Manu, Tao, Nouha, and Paco have led recent departures. Bring swimwear, water shoes, food, and spare clothes.

“This is a beautiful hike which is moderate in difficulty. The views are stunning and the route is interesting and varied. Be aware that towards the end the path goes near a dam and you will get soaking wet on one side passing the dam. The natural pools are amazing and a nice area to relax. We had two lovely guides for the trip and they took good care of us. The only negative was there are no toilet facilities for most of the day which is a little difficult to manage. Overall a fabulous day out in Valencia.”

“Amazing tour of Montserrat! Our tour guide, David, was incredible. We learned so much about the history of the mountain and the Monastery. It was an easy meet up location and beautiful drive to/from the mountain. The best part was his stories whenever we had any down time. He was so knowledgeable about the region and had a great sense of humor. The hike down was incredible, so many amazing views. We want to thank him for the Cava sangria recommendation. We had it at dinner later in the day and it was so good! I would highly recommend this tour.”
